After watching yesterday’s game between FC Barcelona versus Newcastle United, I came to a conclusion that we need to replicate the same defensive type of players FC Barcelona used for the match.

These defensive players are Pedri who is 22 years old and Frenkie de Jong who is 28 years of age.
(Mainoo is 20 years old and Lisandro Martinez is 27 years old)

In the words of Chief Zebrudaya ” Are you seeing what i’m saw”

I just realized that Man United has the same caliber of players and Ruben Amorim should engage them religiously for that defensive warfare. Also motivate them enough during training and match games.

He plays three defenders at the back, now those three defenders are not enough in my view, because once the left back and the right back overlaps and in the case of counter attacks, they do not return the three defenders are left with much work to do.

Now playing four defenders at the back with Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez as defensive midfielders would definitely solidify the midfield to the defense.

You can agree with me that in any football match, once the midfield is not smoothly aligned, the opposition team with smooth aligned passing has a higher chance of being fluid, leading to massive attacks.

This is why I love Carlo Ancelotti because he would have realized that Lisandro Martinez would make a perfect fit for that defensive warfare.

During yesterday’s game between both football clubs, Newcastle center back Dan Burn was running around Pedri like he’s the younger brother — and the way Pedri just casually gets out of it

The level of consistency Pedri shows is absolutely ridiculous.

Too bad Europe allowed Pedri and De Jong play for the same team..

And we are overlooking the partnership potential of Mainoo and Lisandro because Amorim is as hard as Jupiter’s cocc without innovative tweaking of positions.

Amorim plays Diallo behind Mbeumo. You don’t get to see him often on the ball as he used to.
Now Cunha is injured and he moved Diallo to that wing, still no show for him, although it’s just one match he’s played in that position.

In the words of FC Barcelona’s head coach, Flick: “It’s not easy to press us when we have Pedri and Frenkie.”

— “Today, both of them played a fantastic game. I’m happy they are playing with such confidence.”

Note the word “Confidence”.

This is a characteristic trait that both Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez posess in abundance.

During our game against Manchester City over the past weekend, when Mainoo handled the ball with his usual confidence, Pep Guadiola could be seen reacting by placing his hands on his (sheer administration) for the young lad.

No wonder the rumor of City seeking to buy him.

If Amorim should let Mainoo go to another club, I’ll personally send Amadioha (Ibo God of Thunder) and Thor in one to strike him into imbecility.

Enough said, every Manchester United fan can agree with me this partnership of Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez.
