APC Gains Momentum In Edo As E-Registration Witnesses Huge Turnout
A massive turnout in the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) electronic membership registration across Edo State has drawn commendation from party stakeholders who say the surge reflects growing public confidence in the party’s leadership and programmes.
One of those who expressed satisfaction is Hon. Robert Uyi Oronsaye, a former aspirant for the Ovia Federal Constituency by-election, who spoke yesterday in Abuja, describing the statewide participation as a clear indication of the APC’s increasing acceptance among Edo residents.
He noted that the enthusiasm shown by new registrants highlighted the positive impact of the APC-led administration’s policies.
Oronsaye also applauded Governor Monday Okpebholo for his people-focused projects, which he said have continued to attract more supporters into the party.
“The governor has done well, just like our President, and this has brought many people into the party,” he stated.
Oronsaye expressed confidence that the rising trust in the APC at both state and national levels would translate into overwhelming support in the 2027 general elections.
He urged party members and prospective supporters who have not yet participated in the e-registration to take advantage of the ongoing exercise, stressing that a larger membership base would further strengthen the party ahead of future political engagements.
Reaffirming his commitment to mobilising support for the APC across Edo State, Oronsaye said he remains optimistic that the party will continue consolidating its gains through inclusive governance and active grassroots engagement.
