Suspected Boko Haram terrorists have circulated a disturbing video showing hundreds of abducted victims, including women and children, allegedly taken from Woro community in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State
The abductions followed a recent attack in which more than 200 residents were reportedly killed earlier this month.
In the footage, one of the armed men is seen questioning the captives about where they were seized. The victims responded that they were abducted from Kaiama LGA.

During the recording, a member of the group accused the administration of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of downplaying the scale of the kidnapping. He claimed the state government misled the public by stating that only between 20 and 30 people were taken, insisting that the actual number in their custody was significantly higher.
“The Kwara State government lied to Nigeria and to the whole world,” the terrorist alleged. “The infidel government lied about your number to be around 20 to 30 people.”
As of the time of filing this report, the spokesperson of the Kwara State Police Command, SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, and the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, had not responded to enquiries regarding the authenticity of the video or measures being taken to secure the victims’ release.
