West Africa Vocational Education is solving what is arguably the biggest challenge on the continent: youth unemployment. In West Africa, 40-85% of youth, more than 50 million, are either unemployed or underemployed. Meanwhile, job creation in the region is on the rise. The disconnect between work-ready youth and the employment market must be bridged.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Executive Assistant

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and organize appointments for senior executives
• Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation
• Draft, proofread, and manage professional correspondence, reports, and presentations
• Maintain and organize files, records, and confidential documents
• Serve as a liaison between executives, staff, and external stakeholders
• Take meeting minutes and follow up on action items and deadlines
• Assist in planning and coordinating internal and external events
• Perform general office management tasks such as ordering supplies and managing vendors
• Support ad-hoc administrative projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• High level of discretion and confidentiality
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
