Job Title: Head of Collections

Location: Kano
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We’re seeking an experienced Head of Collections to lead our collections team in Kano.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective collections strategies to minimize bad debt, improve cash flow, and enhance customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collections Strategy: Develop and execute collections strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a team of collections professionals.
  • Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with customers, negotiate payment plans, and resolve disputes.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential credit risks.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular collections performance reports and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1 – 3 years experience in collections or credit management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian financial regulations and industry standards.
