Israel DMW, Davido’s aide, has publicly thrown his weight behind his boss amid the ongoing tension surrounding the child custody dispute with Sophia Momodu.
Sophia Momodu’s lawyer reportedly made provocative remarks in court concerning Davido’s late son, which made Davido lose his cool and generated a heated scene in the courtroom. Following this, Israel DMW took to social media to back his boss and amplify criticism of the lawyer’s actions.
In a now-deleted Instagram story, Davido cautioned the public with a strongly worded message, writing:
“Fear women, who carry churches on their heads like Cross. Their minds are always deep.
They don’t care how you feel when they’re about to hurt you.
Wicked and useless lawyer.”
Earlier, Davido clarified that he never sought sole custody of his daughter, stressing that his request was strictly for joint custody. He also revealed that he has decided to withdraw the case, stating that his daughter will one day understand that he made the effort to stand up for her.
Israel DMW later echoed his support for Davido, amplifying the criticism directed at the lawyer as reactions continue to trail the withdrawn custody battle.
