PICTORIAL: Kwankwaso Visits Makinde In Ibadan, Says They Discussed ‘Pressing National Issues’
National leader of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has visited Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State at the latter’s office located at the State Secretariat in Ibadan, the State capital, on Wednesday.
There were speculations earlier in the day that the visit was merely a show courtesy by the guest as Kwankwaso had a different engagement in Oyo State, while others speculated a possible political alliance between the host and the august visitor.
However, the former governor of Kano State and national leader of Kwankwasiyya political bloc, said his meeting with Governor Makinde centred on ‘important priorities’ and ‘pressing national issues’.
Kwankwaso, who took to his verified Facebook page to make the revelation, however, did not provide details of the discussion.
He wrote: “Today, I paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, at the Government House in Ibadan.
“Our conversation focused on important priorities and pressing national issues.”
